The Art Centre supports and encourages Youth, hobby, emerging and professional artists by creating a space where they can learn, live, work, teach and exhibit their art. Painting, drawing, print making, photography, pastel, watercolour, batik, pottery, handi crafts, sculpture, wood working are all many visual arts practices that happen here at the Art Centre

 

Art Camp is one of the program creations of the Art Centre to get Kids who love art -- Doing art! 9 kids participated in a 4 week long course and organized their very own exhibition at the end of the camp. Photos in the gallery

 

New Visual arts programs will be advertised later in the Spring so watch for youngsters programing age 8-12 and Teen programing age 15 and up. All new programing will focus on drawing, water colour and other skills and techniques pulled from university level material but taught in a kid friendly manner.
