Dare to get  dirty. Sign up for Atikokan Pottery Lessons. We offer them to children of all ages! We offer lessons for individuals and groups . During the day school groups and pre-school can make apointments to come to the pottery room or we can come to you.  We have regular classes after school on Monday and Tueday evenings and on weekends, we hold workshops.  The pottery room offers instruction on the wheel (we have 3)Including a brand new silent electric wheel, in extruded ceramics, (we have an extruder and several different dies to go with it). We also offer instruction in slab work and hand-building.  We now have a Raku kiln and will be offering classes in both Raku and Smoke firing. Come down and make something special for yourself or someone special.  Make a plate, a cup, a vase or even a complete set of dishes.  Come down and see what you can do with a little bit of mud.   Arrangements can be made for groups, celebrations, and any one who would like to get instruction on an individual basis by contacting the Art Centre at 807-597-8738.

Children’s pottery is Monday afternoon from 1-2pm at a cost of $3 per child per session.  This fee covers the cost of clay and all materials   Adult pottery is Tuesday evening from 7pm to 9pm at a cost of $10 per person per session this covers the cost of materials or $20 per month + the cost of clay.         Arrangements can be made for groups, celebrations, and any one who would like to get instruction on an individual basis by contacting the Art Centre at 807-597-8738.
